As far as i know he got shot the same day for the same reason that john lennon got shot.....the asshole fan didnt like that pantera broke up...the guy who killed lennon was pissed cause the beatles broke up..
or merely a coincidence?

when i was in a band in high school and early in college days, I looked up to him when I played guitar (esp. when im fantasizing) and still listen to Pantera all the time. may he rest in peace. .
