12 DAYS and COUNTING
I am bum for 12 days and counting...
still no luck...
At last, I already had my kernel upgraded to kernel 2.4.24, I had problems before that during startup when i select my new kernel, it will say "Loading Linux.... then it will reboot, I tried reviewing the modules selected and deselected and it seems my config is blowing up my hardware, tried copying the config on cd on kernels/bare.i/config and at last it works.
Its almost 3 days now and I did nothing but stay with my PC at my room browsing the net and doing different stuffs, my friend asked me to join on his web development team, but I am still not good with creating dynamic pages integrated with some database. So I installed Apache, PHP, MySQL in Windows (thanks to google) and they are working perfectly together right now, need to read some reference materials coz I like to prioritize security esp. working with MySQL. I even installed a firewall on winblows and close port 3306 from outside access, I hope it works.
I just post here my top 3 favorite flash sites so far,for future reference too
I was impressed with this site >>
we went to freedom bar on valentine's eve and I had great time to unwind, got to see some local bands, it was "Rudies Night", and it was cool. Reggae,Ska and punk bands played that night, and got to see Myra of Brownbeat...
I had brief tutorials on my friend (since he is also one of our officemates who decide to resign like me) working on network operations, He thought me some basic cisco router commands and some advanced tips like getting crc errors, or traffic(ip caching) for a particular client (IP).cool!
I drink with my college friends last night at our house. All of them are now IT professionals, programmers, MIS, web developer. I am shit compared to them..hehehe. I am an engineer but they earn more than me..well im not envy, maybe it still not my time yet. Since I already resign, I will be bum for weeks, I am a full pledge job hunter now.
It's almost 2 weeks since I used my PC here at home. I tried upgrading gaim to version 0.75 and now its working perfectly for Yahoo!, not like before with its old version. Anyway, i haven't d/l yet the new kernel 2.6.1 or even 2.6 , coz its like I want to do some geeky stuffs today.Well later maybe.
