Updates

I'm just browsing in my blog archives and sometimes I intend to laugh, coz I felt stupid...Anyway, just updating my blog, nothing special. And since we moved to a new house, but we are still in a compound, I'm a little bit comfortable now, there are pros and cons of course, and one of it is internet access at home. It's quite expensive but its faster coz my way of access only is via 3G internet, good thing my wife has 3G phone and we have to connect a bluetooth dongle to connect it to our PC... it's faster than DSL, and comparing it to my brother's Globe "speak and surf" "broadband kuno" wireless internet access, it's way way ahead. Globe data service sucks here in our area, eventhough the cellsites are near ... It's still slower comparing with my ever dependable old skool free dialup access, now its quite techie and cool in a way but cost me so much and can't enjoy well... When i go online, its pretty systematic coz I had to plan the websites to visit and things to click around, my homepage used to be google, then they had their own toolbar like yahoo so no use to make it as my home page, so I make it to one of fave site I usually visit, it's tipidpc..:) it's a local website, selling and trading stuffs same as ebay.ph or bidshot.com, but I'm comfortable here coz I had so many successful transactions from here comparing to ebay which only one, and no positive feedbacks gosh hehehe..i'll stop it here, it's free advertisement for them via here.
Regarding to my old posts before about things that I want to have, that's was one of my corny post, hehe , but fortunately those 3 of them I got to have, not the exact things but it's somewhat close to it, and I'm contented and I'm happy. It's a materialistic side of me on that moment. Before I ask for Zune, then from continous browsing for reviews, I decided to get an Ipod but it ended up purchasing a 30G Creative Zen Vision M, and I never regret it, coz it's a way way way better than Ipod technically speaking, maybe a plus factor only for Ipod is the "cool" persona that it will gives out end-users when you have that, but I don't need to be cool, Im already cool :) , just joking around. Then after few months, I decided to sell it and buy a second hand PSP. I got addicted with PSP for some time, not only with games but also with the live PSP community in PH, got to know several things about PSP, from customized firmwares, down/upgrade, homebrews, tricks and so on and so forth.. We usually play ad-hoc games with my officemates, playing NBA Live during lunch, we are quite active then, after few months, I decided to sell it and buy PS2 instead and I gonna stick with it, coz I have more bonding moments with family and my daughter playing with this game console. I can't afford to buy PS3 but still I'm happy with it.
Going to my office either by bus, train or taxi, it's still as boring as ever, coz of the traffic and since I had to sell my digital player, so I decided to buy a more affordable but practical MP3 player with creative 1G Muvo, it's cheap but it has decent sounds compared to China-made generic MP4 players. Why I don't like of those even it's very cheap, coz you have to invest more on getting a good headphones for those MP4 players, and headphones such as Sennheisser is not pocket friendly, unless you're financially stable. My problem now is the size, 1G is just a 3.5 floppy diskette size nowadays, is my analogy correct? im just trying to say that Terra gig is just around the corner...
Still related with that particular post, that time I dreamed about having a Dell Gaming laptop, now I regret that, lolz, why do games in a lappy when you can have it on a desktop PC . Few weeks ago, I bought an MSI laptop and the decision of getting that brand has many several factors, main reason is budget. Prior to that, for few weeks of continuous brainstorming on reviews and recommendations by my friends, I came up with a decision to get that instead of Acer. Neo laptop tempted me because of its affordable price but it's poor post-sales service and hardware-related stuff puts Neo last on my list. I'm happy with my new lappy now, no regrets until now, as far as I know MSI is an Asian brand but it has a good reputation from making good Motherboards etc. etc. I still haven't install it with any non-windows OS but I'll post it here once I finished installing my FreeBSD on this laptop.

updates to be posted soon. bye for now.

Some good and bad moments

Many things happened these past months, since I got too busy with work and some stuffs. There are also some tragic happened with the country and I had some too. PH got this Glorietta "bombing", I quoted that one coz the root cause of the explosion is still not determine yet, whether its just an accident or not, still many questions and theories arising until at this moment. I don't want to speak here political or something, but too many things happening with our country right now, lots of political controversies with our present government, then we also had this GMA giving "executive clemency" or pardon with ERAP, fuck that! I'm not pro-ERAP neither pro-GMA, it's just pissed me off that this kind of things, historical event they say it is just benefiting both of them, both winners and only losers are the people. Some say something like "you can steal all you want and get away with it" and some say that day is one of the saddest moment in Phil. history, as far as justice system is concerned.
Well, I also have one saddest moment in my life, my grandfather passed away. I'm not really a lolo's boy, and actually I don't like him when I was young coz he's so strict and very dominant to his "apo". That's why they all call him "hitler" and the name speaks with itself. But to tell you truth, when I had this speech yesterday at his burial, I almost cried, no big tears but they can all witnessed that my voice was trembling...so what the fuck will I do that, is that being "plastic" to praise and to show all the people how good he was coz he's dead. my answer is simply I'm honest. Eventhough I hate him before but as time goes by, when I'm matured enough, I got to understand and there was some good moments with him when he was still alive that came into my mind that made me so sad, I just say to myself "Shit, I gonna miss Daddy", of course in Filipino :)

On the other hand, as my "utol" said after the burial "kelangan pa ba na may mamatay para lang mangyari eto?". The one he's referring to was good things that happened after that, we got to see some of our relatives that we haven't seen for several years since they live abroad now, got to hang out with them and do some family-relatives bonding moments. it's cool!!!
